The Challenge: Unifying planning across different service lines 

Before Beeye

DBA is an accounting, audit, and advisory firm with over 300 employees and a member of the international HLB network. Before adopting Beeye in 2017, Accounting, Audit, and Consulting operated with disparate planning methods and tools that suited their specific needs. As the firm grew, coordinating workloads and sharing capacity across departments became increasingly complex: 

  • Limited visibility into workloads and staff availability 
  • Manual time and absence tracking prone to errors 
  • Fragmented data and non-integrated systems 

What Triggered Change

Cegid Integration 

Client, engagement, and staff data automatically synchronizes from Cegid to Beeye, eliminating double entry and ensuring data consistency across systems and departments. 

Automated Assignments 

New client engagements from Cegid automatically appear in Beeye with the associated budget and tasks - ready to schedule.  

Lucca Integration 

Time-off data and leave requests from DBA’s HR system Lucca instantly appear in Beeye schedules and timesheets. This convenience helps avoid scheduling conflicts. 

Expansion to Performance Monitoring 

After establishing Beeye for scheduling, DBA began using it to track actual time spent on engagements and compare it against budgets and scheduled hours. This evolution allows them to monitor projected profitability in real time and take action such as billing additional work to the client or adjusting the schedule.
