Kruggel Lawton CPAs Unifies Scheduling Across Seven Offices with Beeye

Kruggel Lawton CPAs, a BDO Alliance USA member firm, has implemented Beeye to centralize resource management firm-wide across seven offices and for more than 160 people. 

The IPA Top 300 CPA and Advisory firm was already scheduling centrally for audit & assurance, but managers and partners were managing resourcing in tax as well as in Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS). Following an acquisition and merger last year, Kruggel Lawton is now centralizing scheduling for the whole firm to free up manager time and improve planning decisions.  

Kruggel Lawton chose Beeye to support their need for structure and foresight. The software will replace complex color-coded spreadsheets, centralize scheduling and project data firm-wide, and deliver the visibility the firm needs to keep engagements to budget and achieve growth targets.

From Spreadsheets to Seamless Integration

Kruggel Lawton uses PracticePro 365 for practice management and previously had to manually enter or cross-reference client, resource and project data when creating the schedule in spreadsheets. Now, data from PracticePro 365 syncs to Beeye for more efficient planning. This same data, including the schedules, utilization, and realization can be viewed in Beeye dashboards but is also sent to Power BI for custom reporting views. 

The decision to prioritize investment in Beeye was influenced by consistent recommendations from peers in the BDO Alliance who were already using the platform.
